Two sisters have died by suicide in Jodhpur’s Kherapa area. The younger sister died Friday after consuming pesticide atop a water tank. She had accused eight people of gangrape and blackmail. Her elder sister died by suicide in March. The family alleges police inaction despite an FIR being lodged. Protests have erupted demanding action against accused and negligent police officials.
