New India Cooperative Bank scam: Mumbai police arrests fourth accused; EOW to seek court nod for Hitesh Mehta’s lie detector test

Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing has detained a fourth individual, Manohar Arunachalam, linked to the New India Cooperative Bank scam. Manohar allegedly received fraudulent money transfers and aided his father’s escape. Meanwhile, the key suspect, Hitesh Mehta, was apprehended for embezzling Rs 122 crore.
