An Assam truck driver, Ashique Uddin Laskar (35), and his helper, Sabir Ahmed Majumder (21), died after their vehicle plunged into a deep gorge on NH-6 near Mualthuam, Mizoram, on Saturday night. The duo was transporting food items to Lunglei when the accident occurred. Their bodies were recovered Sunday morning, while a third passenger survived with minor injuries.
