President Droupadi Murmu has commenced a historic state visit to Angola, marking 40 years of diplomatic ties. She received a ceremonial welcome in Luanda, with discussions set to deepen cooperation across energy, trade, and defence. The visit coincides with Angola’s 50th Independence Day celebrations, where the President will address Parliament and meet the Indian diaspora.
