A man’s body was found in a river in Samastipur, suspected to be murdered over a land deal. Ranjit Kumar had paid a substantial advance for land, but the seller allegedly refused to register it. Ranjit was lured to the seller’s hotel and later killed, his body dumped in the Shanti river.
