Bengal administration is preparing to implement the Centre’s Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme ahead of the new BJP government’s swearing-in. A high-level meeting discussed implementation modalities and Ayushman card distribution. The Centre will also release Rs 2,700 crore in pending Jal Jeevan Mission funds to West Bengal.
