Indian Railways has recruited 43,781 candidates during FY 2025-26 and is pushing ahead with reforms to make the hiring process more transparent and technology-driven. Reviewing the Railway Recruitment Board system, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasized faster recruitment, wider use of digital examinations, better communication with candidates, and stricter measures against misinformation.
