Senior advocate Ujjwal Nikam has accepted the role of special public prosecutor in the Ketan Agarwal murder case following a request from Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the victim’s family. The CM described the case as a challenge for the state, emphasizing the need to uphold the rule of law. Agarwal died on June 18 after a fall from Lohagad Fort, with police investigating it as a suspected murder.
