‘Kannada can’t be third language in Karnataka’: State school body opposes CBSE’s three-language policy

Karnataka schools’ association, KAMS, has challenged the CBSE’s new three-language policy, citing a clash with the state’s existing Kannada language law. KAMS has requested the CBSE to halt the policy for the upcoming academic year and seeks immediate clarification on its implementation. The association also wants a transition plan for current students, warning of legal action if a response isn’t received within 15 days
