After hosting 36 international sports events since 2025, India plans to host 11 more in the next six months. Ahmedabad, India’s bid city for the 2036 Olympics, is due to hold three of them. In Delhi, the BWF World Championships will be held as a test of infrastructure improvement following the India Open fiasco in January.
