To combat flooding issues, Western Railway is set to elevate tracks in Nalasopara and Vasai. The first phase, which will raise the tracks by 50 mm, is expected to be finished by the end of July. A subsequent phase aims for a total elevation of 400 mm, necessitating updates to platforms and electrical infrastructure.
