1994-batch IPS officer Anurag Kumar replaces Satish Golcha as new Delhi Police commissioner

Anurag Kumar, a 1994-batch IPS officer, has been appointed the new Delhi Police Commissioner. He currently serves as Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau and will assume charge soon. Kumar succeeds Satish Golcha, a 1992-batch IPS officer from the AGMUT cadre. Golcha has been directed to report to the Lieutenant Governor for his next assignment. This transition will be effective upon Kumar’s assumption of the top police post.
