Four individuals, including a wife and her alleged lover, were arrested in Uttar Pradesh. The investigation revealed a conspiracy to murder the husband using a staged snakebite. The wife and her lover allegedly planned the killing to advance their relationship. They also sought to claim approximately twenty lakh rupees from a life insurance policy. This incident followed a prior failed attempt to kill the husband with a car.
