Engaging skilled craftsmen, they aim to maintain the ancient techniques of teakwood carving. Built in 1849 by Gopalrao Mairal, the temple is rich in history, featuring age-old illustrations and folklore surrounding a secret tunnel. Excitingly, it is on the path to gaining UNESCO World Heritage designation.
