In a significant move to ensure food safety, the Maharashtra FDA recently seized a stock of expired Frooti and Appy Fizz beverages from a warehouse, prompting the suspension of its license. The seized beverages, valued at nearly one lakh rupees, were part of a broader crackdown that led to the suspension of fourteen food business licenses and the issuance of improvement notices to sixty establishments.
