Speaking with Senator Bernie Sanders at Georgetown University, the AI pioneer warned of massive unemployment, arguing Big Tech’s trillion-dollar data centre spending only pays off by replacing workers cheaply. Sanders estimates nearly 100 million US jobs face automation risk.
