Che Guevara inspires us to embrace profound empathy and fight against apathy. We are called to recognize and address the unseen suffering and injustices that exist beyond our immediate environment. True empathy demands that we honor the anguish of others just as we do our own. We mustn’t allow physical distance to excuse us from confronting human rights abuses anywhere.
