Nearly four decades after her iconic portrayal of Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, Dipika Chikhlia wants to expand how audiences see her. While she remains grateful for the role that shaped her career, the actress is seeking strong, meaningful parts in films and OTT that offer creative satisfaction. She also feels actresses between 50 and 70 deserve more diverse roles and hopes filmmakers will experiment with her.
