A five-storey PG accommodation collapsed suddenly near Delhi’s Satya Niketan area. Many students were trapped inside the rubble after the structure gave way. Rescue teams and locals immediately began clearing debris to find survivors. Construction work was reportedly underway in the building’s basement at the time. The incident has raised concerns about building safety in the congested locality.
