This Ganesh Chaturthi, V Shantaram’s family is celebrating his cinematic legacy with an 18-foot Ganpati inspired by his film Navrang at Rajkamal Kalamandir. The installation, featuring archival material, vintage posters, portraits and glimpses of his filmmaking technology, also marks his 125th birth anniversary.
