On September 14, Peter Byrne, co-founder of Naked Eyes, died at the age of 74 following a brief illness, at his residence in Los Angeles. A prominent figure in the new wave and synth-pop genres since the early ’80s, he is remembered by his siblings, three children, and ex-wife Elena. Over his varied career, Byrne collaborated with many artists, including the legendary Stevie Wonder.
