In a bold stance, resident doctors at AIIMS Nagpur have suspended non-emergency outpatient services and routine inpatient care following the alleged assault of a colleague in the MICU on September 22. The Resident Doctors’ Association is pressing for a formal FIR and the immediate arrest of the perpetrators, alongside enhancements in security and a more equitable patient referral system, after expressing dissatisfaction with administrative responses.
