The Central Information Commission has asked the UPSC to consider restoring paper-wise disclosure of marks secured by candidates recommended in the Civil Services Main examination. The CIC noted that no official record was produced to explain why the practice stopped after 2017. It also directed the DoPT to provide detailed marks for recommended candidates from 2018 to 2023.
