Riley Gaines’ Title IX lawsuit against the NCAA has been dismissed by US District Judge Tiffany R. Johnson. The court found there was no evidence that the NCAA received federal financial assistance, which meant the Title IX claims could not continue. Gaines and the other plaintiffs plan to appeal to the 11th Circuit. The ruling did not decide the discrimination question.
