The Indian government maintains that its framework governing satellite communications is fair and impartial. Presently, security evaluations are in progress for three licensees, including Starlink, Eutelsat OneWeb, and Reliance Jio. Starlink officials have indicated their willingness to initiate operations in India, contingent upon regulatory clearances.
