Mattel honours Serena Williams with a new Barbie doll that celebrates more than tennis glory

Serena Williams has received her second Barbie doll of 2026, inspired by her iconic 2005 Australian Open victory. The doll recreates her neon green and white outfit, celebrating her achievements as a 23-time Grand Slam singles champion. Williams also highlighted the importance of representation, drawing from her childhood experiences. Through the Barbie Dream Gap Project, Mattel will donate to Mrs. Rina’s House of Blessings to support programmes that empower children from struggling families.
