AeroVironment’s LOCUST laser system has been deployed at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate for enhanced security. This addition strengthens the existing air-defense network including Stinger missile systems and radar equipment. The deployment was confirmed by NORAD and US northern command at the request of the US Secret Service. Officials are increasingly concerned about threats posed by small commercial drones against high-profile individuals.
