Dion Dawson founded Dion’s Chicago Dream in 2020 to provide fresh produce to families facing food insecurity. After experiencing homelessness and food scarcity, he aimed to improve food distribution methods. The non-profit now delivers 80,000 pounds of fresh produce weekly to over 5,400 households.
