Anand Mahindra praised the design of electric seagliders by an IIT Madras-incubated startup, Waterfly Technologies. These Wing-in-Ground (WIG) crafts, designed for sustainable transport, promise cost-effective travel at high speeds, without the need for airport infrastructure.
