Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu attributed the naming of Amaravati as the state capital to Lord Venkateswara Swamy. He performed Bhumi Puja for expansion works at the TTD Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Amaravati, praising the 29,000 farmers who contributed 33,000 acres for the capital’s development.
