Florida is removing automated license plate reader cameras from state highways. Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters will discontinue their use across Duval County. This decision follows state mandates and community concerns about privacy and accuracy. Other Florida sheriff’s offices are also ending their use of these cameras. Several US communities have recently ended relationships with Flock Safety.
