A sessions court has put on hold the findings of a magistrate’s inquiry report that indicted five policemen for the custodial death of an accused in the Badlapur school sexual assault case. The court allowed the CID to continue its independent investigation. The accused, Akshay Shinde, allegedly died in a police encounter while being transported for questioning.
