The Regional Geriatric Centre in Varanasi is being upgraded to a 200-bed National Centre of Ageing, with construction nearly one-third complete. This facility will enhance geriatric care services, offer advanced medical training, and increase the number of postgraduate MD seats for geriatric medicine.
