A HDFC Bank manager in Chennai has been arrested for allegedly stealing over 21 lakh worth of gold and cash from an NRI customer’s locker. The manager, in charge of the vault, reportedly accessed the locker without authorization. Police recovered a significant portion of the cash and melted gold, confirming the misuse of access privileges.
