A new greenfield expressway connecting Bareilly and Haldwani is set to significantly reduce travel time to Nainital by over three hours. This four-lane, access-controlled highway, spanning approximately 100 kilometers, aims to ease traffic congestion on existing routes. The project is expected to boost tourism and regional economic development in Uttarakhand’s Kumaon region.
