Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation’s standing committee has approved a four-lane road overbridge project for Mothagaon railway crossing. This project aims to significantly reduce travel time between Dombivli and Thane, cutting it to about 25 minutes. Execution of the project, costing ₹170 crore, will be coordinated with Central Railway. The bridge, which has been planned since 2007, received approval after demands for an adequate structure intensified.
