Police have dismantled a major international crime ring suspected of smuggling up to 40,000 stolen mobile phones from the UK to China, valued at millions. This operation, the UK’s largest targeting phone theft, resulted in 18 arrests and the recovery of over 2,000 devices. The gang was reportedly moving phones to China on an “industrial scale.”
