Schweinsteiger’s comments about Ivory Coast being “unorthodox” and “wild” drew Faé’s ire after his team’s World Cup knockout qualification. Faé highlighted his team’s tactical prowess, refuting the pundit’s prejudiced remarks which have sparked backlash in Germany for perpetuating colonial stereotypes.
