Tigress Chanda has arrived at Sahyadri Tiger Reserve. She was moved from Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve. This marks a significant step in the tiger reintroduction program. Chanda will undergo acclimatisation before being released into the wild. This initiative aims to boost tiger population and genetic diversity in the region. Another tigress, Chandani, will also be moved later.
