GCC approves one stop travel system to let citizens complete all travel checks at one point

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has approved a new travel system allowing citizens to complete immigration, customs, and security checks at a single checkpoint. The pilot phase will launch in December 2025, starting with air travel between the UAE and Bahrain. If successful, the system will expand across all six GCC member states, streamlining regional travel and boosting connectivity.
