After the Supreme Court declined to intervene in their bail cancellation, nightclub owners Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, along with Ajay Gupta, have surrendered to a Goa court. The seriousness of their charges, stemming from a catastrophic fire in December 2025 that resulted in twenty-five fatalities, led the Bombay High Court to cancel their bail. The charges they face include culpable homicide not amounting to murder and criminal conspiracy.
