An 18-year-old student was targeted by two men on a motorcycle who forcibly snatched her gold chain, valued at Rs 80,000, while she was walking home from college in Byndoor. The suspects initially passed by, then intercepted her, and fled towards Bhatkal. A case has been registered at Byndoor police station to investigate the incident and trace the culprits.
