Odisha is set to significantly enhance vehicle fitness assessments by establishing 14 new government-owned automated testing stations (ATS). This move aims to strengthen road safety and ensure regulatory compliance by eliminating human intervention in vehicle inspections. The state is also exploring policies to allow private players to operate ATS facilities.
