In 2017, Colorado construction workers accidentally dug up a very rare dinosaur fossil

A construction project in Thornton, Colorado, unearthed a significant prehistoric find. Workers discovered a fossilised skeleton initially thought to be a Triceratops. Further examination revealed it was a much rarer Torosaurus. This discovery, comprising 80 per cent of the skull and 15 per cent of the body, is one of the most complete Torosaurus specimens found in Colorado.
