Veteran lyricist Sameer Anjaan revealed he sought Javed Akhtar’s permission before penning songs for Karan Johar’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. Akhtar had opted out due to the film’s title, which he deemed vulgar, and advised Sameer against it. However, impressed by the story and director’s vision, Sameer accepted the project, leading to a musical hit.
