Maharashtra Forest Minister Ganesh Naik announced a hi-tech AI-based early warning system, modeled after Chandrapur, to mitigate frequent leopard attacks in Pune and Ahilyanagar. The state is also seeking central approval to shoot leopards that attack humans and considering sterilization to manage the rising big cat population.
