Mt Mary Basilica in Bandra has a new look. A two-year restoration is now complete. The shrine will be inaugurated in October. The restoration included waterproofing, interior work, and new lighting. The Basilica now has upgraded facilities for pilgrims. These include washrooms and food courts. Conservation architects oversaw the project. Fundraising is underway to cover the costs.
