Nalin Haley, son of Nikki Haley, clashed with journalist Mehdi Hasan on immigration as Nalin called for Mehdi Hasan’s denaturalization and Hasan reminded Nalin that his grandfather was also an immigrant to the US from India. Nalin suggested that his grandfather never complained about the US, unlike Mehdi Hasan and other ungrateful immigrants, when Hasan cited a page from Nikki Haley’s book recounting her struggle in the US because of her foreign origin.
