Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that while freedom of expression is guaranteed by the Constitution, it must respect societal dignity and boundaries. This comes as Maharashtra Cyber Police registered a case against comedian Pranit More and others for allegedly circulating “obscene and objectionable” content on social media, including offensive remarks on women and deceased individuals.
