A police inspector, Sanjay C T, was arrested for his involvement in an overseas job scam in Kottayam. Sanjay, who was under suspension, and Preethy Mathew, who ran Can Assure Consultancy, allegedly scammed a woman of Rs 8.60 lakh by promising a caregiver job in the UK.
